$19.95 including 12V Power Supply

The Railsync Power and Termination Board can provide additional Railsync Power, Termination or both to a standard Loconet. It can also provide the required Railsync Power and Termination for a Standalone Loconet.

Command Stations typically have limited Railsync Power capability. When many stationary Loconet devices are attached or if throttles are plugged into unpowered Loconet jacks, then additional Railsync Power may be needed to ensure proper operation.

The Command Station generally provides adequate Termination for the Loconet. Some installations with very long Loconet cable runs and many connected devices occasions may find communication reliability is improved by adding Termination.

A Standalone Loconet (a Loconet with no Command Station) requires a source of both Railsync Power and Termination to function properly.

The Railsync Power and Termination Board comes with an appropriate 12VDC power supply. The Instruction Sheet describes how to configure the board for specific applications.

Features

  • Connects to standard Loconet or a Standalone Loconet
  • Optionally provides up to 500 mA of additional Railsync Power
  • Optionally provides Loconet Termination

The Railsync Power and Termination Board is available with a screw terminal block and no power supply for special applications – contact us for details.

JMRI and iTrain running on the MacBook process feedback from Detectors connected to Loconet stationary decoders. Keith’s layout models tram operations in the central business district of Melbourne Australia in HO. The layout is currently in the test phase and eventually will be fully automated and scenicked.
